from the photographer… “The inspiration for this vintage, rustic styled shoot grew from our team’s fondness of intimate, meaningful weddings, our love of texture, and a true passion for all things romantic. The exposed brick and rustic wooden details at Mopac Event Center ooze character, making it the perfect place to bring our vision to reality. Hair and makeup was styled to capture classic old world, Hollywood glamour. Our stationery incorporates more unique elements of texture in the gold foiling, handtorn edges, and wooden paper backing. The floral arrangements (made of Queen protea, white O’hara garden roses, champagne tea roses, black calla lilies, white majolika spray roses, hellebore, white lisimachia, purple astrantia, plum ranunculus, scabiosa, agonis, smilax, and eucalyptus) were perfectly and romantically overgrown, bringing the outdoors in. Our chocolate cake was handmade and layered with blackberry curd and iced in vanilla buttercream and chocolate ganache drips.”
