from the photographer… “When Chante and I met up for coffee at a local Starbucks a few months ago, we shared how we both were decorating our homes. My home decor included white, teal, blush pink, grey, and gold with a touch of yellow. Chante’s love for home decor included blush pink, white, and a love for vintage-inspired items. Before we realized it, we both wanted to do a classic, romantic, timeless and chic styled shoot with a touch of blush pink and gold. We wanted a romantic location with lots of nature to capture the true beauty and essence of our vision. When we found Rancho Las Lomas in Orange County, we knew that this was the venue. Kylie, the venue coordinator at Rancho Las Lomas, replied to Chante within 10 minutes, and we were beyond excited to partner with them for this amazing styled shoot. Everything started to fall in place from here.”
“Everyone showed up at the venue the day of the shoot before the crack of dawn with their amazing talents and lots of enthusiasm. Hair and makeup artist, Cheek to Cheek Artistry started doing her magic on our beautiful model Lyndi before 7AM. The gorgeous handmade jewelry for the model were provided by Everistta Bridal, and the elegant head pieces were by The Blushing Bird in Burbank, California. We were very excited to partner with The Black Tux for the groom’s attire. They were very accommodating to our need and vision, and mailed the perfect outfit to the model on time.”
“Vintage Owl Rentals and Cherished Rentals didn’t hesitate to move around their heavy furniture to accommodate the photographer’s request so that we could utilize the available natural light. Kat Castagnoli’s stunning centerpieces, bouquet and boutonniere, and Emma Bauso and Jessica Smith’s stationery added a romantic touch to all the details. Meanwhile, Jennifer Demo Photography’s romantic and lively video was absolutely perfect to record all the hard work and fun we had. Even though it was a hot and humid day with harsh light everywhere, everyone worked very hard to perfect the styled shoot while enjoying a day together at Rancho Las Lomas. The entire time we had our eyes on our reward, the delicious cake and gift baskets from Batter Up Bakery and Salt and Pepper Co. We showed up as vendors and left as friends.”
