from the photographer… “Joanna and Will wanted a ‘Pinterest-perfect wedding’ that was still original and true to their style. They dreamed of somewhere that’s green and open for their puppy, Tucker, to enjoy as much as they would on their special day. Caboose Farm tucked away in the Catoctin Mountains in Frederick, Maryland was the perfect place just for them. This romantic, elegant, rustic chic wedding was styled just for them and was referred, as they put it, ‘Pinterest-perfect’. The couple were transported from their Farm House to The Glade by a 1936 White Touring Coach. The Glade at Caboose Farm is a beautiful green opening surrounded by the mountainous woods by a flowing creek. When they stepped out of their coach they saw their dream wedding layed out before them. The color scheme for this wedding was blush and gold with white and green accents. When they saw everything together in The Glade, everyone agreed that the months of planning before this moment were well worth it. From the custom made invitations and save the dates to all of the vintage details.”
“The florist provided a beautiful cascading bouquet made of pink garden roses, peach peonies, purple wax flowers and fresh greenery tied with twine along with a matching flower crown for the bride to wear on this day. The orange creamsicle naked caked was adorned with the same colorful roses and peonies. The baker also provided cake mason-jars for guests to take home as favors. The rental service provided a petite pink sofa for the couple, a darling white coffee table, a white stone fireplace and other antique items. Joanna’s dress was lace and had cap sleeves. The dress covered every curve beautifully while leaving enough room for comfort. Will’s grey tux was tailored to fit him and was accented with a floral boutonniere tied with twine to match Joanna’s bouquet. For cocktail hour, they chose drinks that would represent them. They served rosemary infused pink lemonade and Jameson’s handcrafted Irish whiskey and began to slice into the naked cake. The sunset on a beautiful couple and an intimate amount of guests who thoroughly enjoyed the warm spring day, including Tucker.”
