Paul and Kara were married September 10, 2016 and I was their wedding photographer. Kara loves the outdoor styled weddings and decided on an organic style wedding with an outdoor ceremony and reception. I knew that they would love this shoot because it would be outdoors! Since the two were actually celebrating their one year anniversary, I decided to host a styled inspiration shoot and asked them to be my models. The shoot started out as just the couple and a fabulous bouquet but quickly turned into something much nicer. I thought it would be fun to gift them a small simple anniversary cake to cut as a thank you and as a celebration since it was their actual anniversary. Once the cake entered the picture, I knew I needed a table. Along with that came everything else. I was absolutely inspired by several different inspiration shoots before me and decided to make this an elegant affair for my couple. I loved how everything turned out so I decided to see about getting this published. This is my first inspiration “styled” shoot and I couldn’t imagine it being with anyone other than these two fabulous and absolutely romantic couple.
We had an amazingly delicious anniversary cake. Champagne. Macaroons. Kissing and lots of love. These two are super romantic with each other and it really shows through their expressions. Every single smile, laugh and kiss is so incredibly genuine AND authentic with these two. They were the perfect models for this shoot.
