Just in time for the holidays, Cake & Lace is back with a new featured submission that we straight away adored the moment we first saw it! Every little detail of this gorgeous styled shoot brims with creativity, authenticity and expressivity. Without more ado, feast your eyes on Rimini Love Story!
A shooting set in Rimini, one of the most beautiful and famous cities of Emilia Romagna and central Italy. The city of nightlife on the Romagna Riviera and which saw the birth of one of the greatest Italian directors: Federico Fellini.
Rita, the wedding planner, took the newlyweds Martina and Federico to a country with an atmosphere different from the one that can remember those who have passed by during the summer.
The colors, the lights of autumn at the end of September completely change the face of this city in every aspect. Rimini shows unique and true views in this period of the year, not only along the seafront but also through the streets of the center, which is one of a kind.
You can get lost in the wonder of the streets and alleys of the historic center and our couple Federico and Martina did this, at the ancient fish market and in the shadow of the Malatesta Temple among the wishes and congratulations of the inhabitants, who showed, as always, their welcome.
It is autumn and the weather is not always the best, but it does not matter if the sky becomes dark, if you see the storm overlooking the sea while eddies of sand hit the last bathers of the maritime season.
On the most beautiful day, with the rain that is about to arrive, Martina and Federico, after a change of clothes and with Converse on their feet, find themselves walking in wedding dresses on the Tiberius Bridge, one of the most emblematic and romantic places in Rimini. Then passing through Borgo San Giuliano, an ancient fishermen’s district, characterized by narrow alleys, low houses with pastel-colored walls, flowered and colorful balconies that rhyme with the beautiful murals that distinguish the creative spirit of its inhabitants.
Walking in this neighborhood so narrow is magic, sometimes the rain can hardly get through and you just think that you are walking the same streets that Oscar winner Federico Fellini has already crossed up to his eighteen years of age. A marvel, a suitable background for a fantastic couple. Rimini is always beautiful even in the rain, and then as they say here: “Wet bride, lucky bride”.
