“Kirk and Layne were married at one of our favorite venues here in Chico, Centerville Estates. The property runs right next to Butte Creek and at this time of year is still so lush and green.
Layne got ready in downtown Chico at Hotel Diamond before heading to Centerville for the first look. All of Kirk and Layne’s bridal party members were so sweet and helpful all throughout the wedding day. It is so clear how much of a strong support group of friends Kirk and Layne have.
Kirk & Layne’s wedding was emotional for them for a number of reasons. The obvious one is that these two were getting married and that alone is so exciting. Not only did this day represent the joining of two individuals, it was the joining of a new family. Layne’s son Collin had been looking forward to this day for so long was excited to share it with his mom.
Some of our favorite moments between Layne and Collin was their own first look they shared together. Collin also walked his mom down the cobblestone steps before handing her off to her dad who escorted her down to Kirk at the very end of the aisle.
Later, as a family, they were all out on the dance floor together with the rest of the guests. It was such a memorable day and we’re so happy for these guys.”
