Fall weddings are among the most popular choices, but it can be hard to choose from only fall colors for your bridesmaid dresses. While there are so many traditional autumn colors to choose from, you may want to go for something different. You can use any color for your wedding if you do it right!

Go for Fall Florals

Florals are an unexpected way to do something big at your wedding. Even if you don’t love traditional fall colors like yellow, brown, and mauve, you can enjoy fall florals in bright colors. The key to choosing the best fall florals is working with a color palette.

When you know which colors you like best for your wedding, you’ll then be able to find floral prints that come in those colors. Many fall designs come with bold prints that feature big flowers. They may also have backgrounds that are darker than traditional floral dresses.

Consider Mixing and Matching

It can be hard to break the tradition of having each bridesmaid in the same exact dress, but it’s an increasingly popular trend in the wedding industry. The most common way to mix and match your wedding is giving your bridesmaids the chance to choose the length and style of the dress. If you have a color palette with multiple colors, you may also be able to to your bridesmaids pick their favorite color. Choosing dresses of different colors all within the same scheme can help create interest in your wedding party and make it stand out among other ones with fall colors.

Pair With Beautiful Fall Accessories

Adding fall accessories to your dresses is a great way to use any color dress. If you pair your dresses with fall accessories, like scarves, it won’t matter much which colors you choose for your palette. The right accessories can set your dresses apart and make even the most summery dress look like it’s ready for fall.

With fall-themed details, the right accessories and jewelry can make your bridesmaid dresses look better and feel better for your bridesmaids. An easy way to give them a fall accessory to use at your wedding is to give it to them as a gift. Consider getting fall jewelry that you know will look great and presenting it to your bridesmaids.

Finding a fall accessory doesn’t have to be all about the jewelry or add-ons like scarves. Instead, you can pick out fall-themed flowers or little touches like brooches for your bridesmaids. A fun way to unify your entire bridal party is by adding a simple pin or something small that you can all wear on the big day!

Make Shoes Match

The shoes you choose for your bridesmaids can make all the difference in the style of their dresses. When you choose a fall-themed shoe, like chunky heels or stylish booties, for your bridesmaids, it will enhance the entire outfit and make the dress stand out as a fall choice. Try different styles of shoes and make sure you choose one that not only matches well with your dresses but also fits your fall theme.

When you have the right shoes for the dress, your bridesmaids will feel good and your entire wedding party will look better. Choosing beautiful shoes can set the stage for a better-styled wedding.

Stick to a Theme

If you choose a theme and you stick to it, the color of your bridesmaid dresses won’t be as important. If you want to go with a rustic theme or even something more modern, make sure you stick with the theme for the whole wedding party. Your entire wedding party will match and you’ll be able to choose any color that matches the theme.

Having a fall wedding doesn’t necessarily mean you have to stick to fall colors. Taking a few steps and adding the right accessories makes choosing any color for your fall wedding an easy option!
