Farm to Table Organic Wedding Inspiration

We are so excited to share this feature! At Cake & Lace, we absolutely adore film photography. There’s something that is so raw with capturing the moment in film, that we just can’t get enough of. This feature is a collaborative project of a team of talented vendors that wanted to share an inspirational farm-to-table wedding. The simple yet elegant styling of the invitation, table setting, food, cake, rings, and of course the adorable couple really brings this raw and organic feel to life.

“In this inspiring editorial, the bride with an eye for organic local offerings will be inspired to create her wedding day palette with the help of locally sourced organic fare. A Local Gathering is an organic garden wedding inspiration shot at the picturesque white barn venue, One Preston, in Gunter, Texas. This editorial depicts an intimate gathering come together to celebrate a chapel wedding followed by an organic, locally sourced farm-to-table feast served up by local chef, Joey Dawkins, of Toasted Walnut Cafe. Each course offered is paired beautifully by locally sourced wines from Eden Hill Vineyard. Local honey adorns the Characuteire. The invitation suite designed on natural papers by Sugared Fig Paperie fits beautifully within the theme. The garden fresh florals reflect the hushed hues of blues, grey and lavender designed by florist Katie Penfield of Katiebug Florals. The wedding cake prepared by Amanda Valencia of Seetbites Shoppe is an ombre cream and gold garnished with fresh garden herbs. The bride is adorned in the most romantic bridal gown, Tango, designed by Name & Anat Bridal Couture, a mother and daughter team based in Israeldesigning couture custom bridal gowns. The couple are whisked away at the end of the evening in a 1972 classic Pontiac GTO convertible.”
