At Cake and Lace, we love fine art photography! This is our first featured public post all the way from the Czech Republic and we’re so impressed to feature such beautiful photography around the world.
In this glamorous styled shoot, Matej wanted to highlight a classic elegant wedding, with the most luxurious elements you can have – decor, flowers, venue, jewellery, shoes.
For this styled shoot, the wedding stylist was Edita Horová. Her aim was to embody a fairy tale wedding for the bride. She aimed to awe guests at first gland at the bride, from her wedding dress, shoes, jewellery, flowers to the dinner table. As you can tell from the photos, Edita wanted “…to create something extraordinary, something that can happen once in a lifetime and everybody will know that on first sight. Even though the boho style is much more popular, I wanted to go a different way, the way I remember when I was a little girl. The amusement when I saw the bride and her dress. This feeling was something I immediately knew it’s just for that moment, you need to find your prince, and then you will become a princess.”
In order to have build this luxurious styled shoot, the venue was in a beautiful garden. Chateau Mcely garden. Since 1968, Chateau Mcely garden has been known to be a vast and marvellous park. It served as the perfect backdrop for this classic and luxurious photoshoot.
For the wedding attire, Ester Tesaříková did the bride’s styling. The Mila Nova wedding dress was from collection Mila by Lorenzo Rossi. Fairy tale Jimmy Choo Cinderella shoes were layered from toe to heel in luxurious Swarovski crystals. The Groom suit was from Czech company that makes tailored suits. But let’s not forget about the gorgeous diamond jewelry the bride wore! The exclusive wedding jewellery was from traditional jewellery company Gismondi1754. The wedding band called Eternity ring had 1,20ct., the engagement ring (3ct.), as well as the earrings (4cz.) and bracelet (16,5ct.), were all from Wedding collection.
Last but not least, Ivan Sablatura did the table styling. The primary colour was White, complemented by the glitter of the mirrors and crystals. The central motif for decoration was Orchids in combination with white Hydrangea. Mirror plates, white table-cloth and white serviettes in conjunction with glass candelabrum and large white containers for the floral arrangements, highlighted the luxurious wedding board perfectly! Pure chairs supported the look of magnificence but still simple beauty as it is when you look at fine class jewellery.
With that, we hope you enjoyed stunning diamond styled shoot in Prague!
