Sophisticated and Romantic One-Year Anniversary Session: Alyssa & Derek

from the photographer… “When Alyssa contacted me to schedule a session for her and her husband, Derek, for their one year anniversary, I was happy to help them celebrate! Then she began to talk about all the little things she wanted to bring to make the session special, and I got really excited! She brought their Kate Spade Wedding China, the top of their wedding cake with a special cake topper, their Kate Spade serving ware and even the bottle of wine they received at their wedding. At that point I knew I had to prepare a beautiful set up for them! I worked with Vestige Event Rentals for the finishing touches that included a bar table and geometrical lantern and vase. I added in little touches, including silk ribbons from Honey Silk Co, and a sweet ring box from The Mrs. Box. We also included some wildflowers from the field to add a little color to the setup, and since the session was a last minute setup, I didn’t have time to include a florist, but I did get a beautiful bouquet from our local grocery store! The two of them showed up in the most perfect outfits, with her white dress, him dressed to the nines with his blue suit, and their sweet puppy, Olive, with her bandana! The day couldn’t have been more perfect with a gorgeous Texas sunset!”
