From the photographer: “I always get excited when a couple tells me that they are getting married at Prestonwood Country Club, but when they tell me that their wedding date is in November I am OVER THE MOON! I just couldn’t get enough of all these gorgeous Fall colors on the grounds of Prestonwood Country Club. It made the perfect backdrop for the most adorable couple. Meredith and Will were one of the most relaxed and stress free couple we have worked with this year. We made a time line, they followed it and smiled and laughed the entire day. Meredith wore a gorgeous strapless gown with a lace overlay with some comfy Kate Spade sparkly sneakers on her feet. Her bridesmaids stood beside her in wine-colored gowns that flowed perfectly in the breeze. William looked dapper in his blue suit with a blue and wine striped tie that tied in with the bridesmaids gowns perfectly. Oh and we couldn’t forget his red Alabama socks! The weather this day was stunning and we got some amazing photos. With their ceremony happening right at sunset, they decided to do a first look and William was absolutely blown away by his gorgeous bride. You can just feel the love that these two share in their portraits. Their ceremony was sweet as their friends and family gathered inside the ballroom to witness their “I do’s”. The rest of the evening was flawless thanks to the planning of Victoria of Sally Oakley Events and the amazing entertainment of All Events DJs.
When I asked Meredith & Will how they will describe their wedding day to their children one day they had the most perfect response. “Magical and full of love. The moment we saw each other for the first time is something we will cherish. The emotion in our vows for one another. Our first dance we shared was truly special. We hope that we will always cherish each other as we did on that day.” Not only will their future children be able to experience the love that they shared for each other on this special day, but also the love that their Grandfather had for their mother. Meredith’s father’s speech had me in tears the entire time I was editing. There is definitely something about that Daddy-Daughter bond that is like no other.
