“Sally’s selected color palette was blush, delicate pink, and ivory. The style was elegant and modern, which was portrayed with vases at the ceremony, a long mirror runner and centerpieces at the reception, and hundreds of candles falling from the trees. The atmosphere was magical at sunset, and at night guests enjoyed a great dinner prepared by Michelin-star chef, Filippo Saporito from La Leggenda dei Frati (Florence). The couple absolutely decided to have a very simple meal and traditional meal with high-quality ingredients. A tiered traditional mille-feuille full of berries delighted guests, and at the moment of the cake cutting the bride decided to gift her husband with an incredible spectacle of fireworks; Kai was incredibly surprised and couldn’t believe it! Then they had their first dance, and the guests danced all night long in front of a fantastic live band.”

I met Sally and Kai om a golf course in colorado summer 2015. they mentioned the weddimg would be in this place….I would not know about. Surprise! my husband and and I had been there on a recent trip to the Maremma region (and some golf and wine) on the coast. when i read about this remote abbey, we had to see it. so memorable! how wonderful to see the pictures.
