“It started out slow. Like John Green writes in The Fault In Our Stars. And then it was all at once. Casual trips to country concerts and hanging out with friends at the bar. Sharing beers and celebrating a great season of hockey. It wasn’t long before friendly run-ins at the office (a.k.a. The Shark Tank) turned into long conversations over the phone, slowly becoming best friends and then all at once, becoming soulmates. Cara & Dan met working for the San Jose Sharks, but the story that led to their dreamy engagement session mostly took place at country concerts, romantic vacations, and hanging out with friends. Not too long ago, they brought home their first fur baby, Josie, who is officially now our best friend forever.
Cara & Dan really wanted to celebrate with their fur baby, Josie. At just over a year old, this golden retriever pup really shined with all that golden California light behind her and pretty much stole the show. She even has her own Instagram account @josiethegoldengirl . Cara & Dan made sure Josie had her own accessories, too, to show off during this engagement session. These two are your ideal young couple in love—beautiful souls with an eye for details. Cara is obsessed with earrings—she brought a two pairs of earrings that really just made a statement and brought some beautiful sparkle and pops of color to their outfits. These two love spending time with friends with drinks in their hands, so they brought a couple bottles of champagne to pop for some photos, too! And it made some of the most fun and joyous expressions we’ve ever captured.”
