Sara and Louie’s wedding took place in the Brewery district of downtown Columbus, Ohio at a winery. The venue, Via Vecchia, is located in a little alleyway that feels like you stepped into Italy. The brick walls, lights, and atmosphere are magical. Their love story began at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio, the college they both attended and where they first met. They happened to be in one of the same classes, when Louie immediately caught Sara’s eye… she immediately turned to her friend asked, “Who is this guy?!” Just a few short months after, they were going out on their first date.
When Louie proposed last year, he did it in one of the most romantic ways, in their living room complete with a candlelit atmosphere and rose petals. One detail from their wedding day that made it especially emotional was that both of Sara’s parents had passed away. She honored her by the charm on her bouquet, as well as having her two grandmas walk her down the aisle. It was absolutely moving, as well as Louie’s tearful and emotional reaction as she walked down the aisle. They were both in tears, everyone was in tears. It was so beautiful.
