From the Wedding Planner & Designer, Elisa Coppiardi:
With this styled shooting we set ourselves the objective of promoting the Piedmont area, in particular
the suggestive and characteristic Monferrato area, as an Italian destination for the Destination
Wedding. The project took place at La Villa Hotel, a charming romantic boutique hotel, located in Mombaruzzo
(Asti) and surrounded by the Monferrato vineyards, a UNESCO world heritage site, with a breathtaking
view of the Monferrato hills and the Alps. Our intention was to capture the profound essence of the territory, enhancing its natural context and
bucolic style, without neglecting the elegance and the refinement. For the color palette we were inspired by delicate and soft colors – such as white, cream and beige –
and green shades, with the aim of making the surrounding nature an integral part of the set-up.The floral arrangements, with a spontaneous and natural style, were created with branches of local
greenery and delicate flowers – such as white playa roses, peonies and angel flowers.Italian craftsmanship was a fundamental aspect for the bride and groom’s clothes and their footwear.
During the ceremony and reception, the bride wore a romantic dress made with lace worked with
artisanal techniques to create an effect of lightness and transparency. For the cake cutting and the
party moments, the bride changed her look: a strong make-up with red lipstick, a hairstyle with soft
waves in her hair, collected in an elegant low ponytail, and a mermaid dress with transparencies for a
sexy and sophisticated aura. The groom wore a tailored suit made of fresh wool fabric and a warm beige colour, combined with a
contrasting green tie, in reference to the colors of the setting. The shoes worn weren’t a random choice but are an expression of Italian craftsmanship and
customization. The shoes are handmade with high-level raw materials and with leather produced by
small Italian tanneries. The symbolic ceremony took place in the Zen Garden with the evocative backdrop of the rolling
Piedmontese hills, which evokes the feeling of an Italian country wedding. To frame the bride and
groom – as a backdrop – a semi-arch structure and a floral composition with floral greenery and wavy
flowers as a reference to the surrounding nature. The dinner took place in the Villa’s courtyard: an intimate and welcoming corner with a breathtaking
view of the Piedmontese hills. For the table setting we were inspired by the bucolic style, without neglecting elegance and
refinement. Wooden materials – such as the chairs – and ceramic – such as the chargers and bread
plates – combined with the cotton fabrics of the tablecloth and napkins and the gold color for the
cutlery and for the cups of the floral arrangements; to create the perfect combination of country style
and evoke timeless elegance. For the cake cutting moment, we proposed a traditional Italian wedding cake: the millefeuille. The
decoration with berries was created on the spot with the spouses participation, making the moment
even more memorable. The wedding stationery was made of natural paper with jagged edges and digital printing.
The graphics were designed in the color palette tones, recalling the natural context colors and
highlighting the bucolic and refined style.
