One trademark of a small wedding is there’ll always be enough for everyone (especially memories!). Today’s featured submission, the Cozy Intimate Wedding With 21 People, is a convincing case that sometimes, less is indeed more. And having fewer guests will result in a greater supplemental fund – leading to a bigger selection of wine and liquor!
From the photographer:
“Mark & Stacey got it right! Their gorgeous, intimate wedding of 21 total guests was for family and close friends only hosted at the beautiful Wayzata Country Club! It was a cold windy March day in Minnesota so their ceremony took place in front of a blazing fireplace! Mark’s brother-in-law officiated and set a relaxed tone. The ceremony was filled with joy, smiles, and happy tears as they exchanged vows to each other.
During the social hour, guests were able to try wines from all over. Each wine was from a place that the bride and groom had personally visited together which made it very meaningful! Their reception continued with a beautiful toast and dinner at a long harvest table that perfected the combination of details and popping colors! The beautiful miniature desserts included tiramisu shooters, chocolate mousse shooters, fruit tarts, and cheesecakes. As if this wasn’t enough the staff from Wayzata Country Club came out and put on a show making Flaming Bananas Foster for all the guests to watch! For those not familiar with this dessert, it is made from bananas in a sauce made out of butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, dark rum, and banana liqueur. The alcohol is then ignited until brown and then the bananas and sauce are served on top of the vanilla ice cream to make a splendid, savory dessert while putting on a fun show! It was so much fun to watch these families celebrate, laugh, and enjoy such a beautiful winter wedding day!”
