Classic and Colorful Downtown Chicago Engagement Session

 

Kelsey and Sean met in the Fall of 2008 at the University of Illinois. They couldn’t keep their eyes off each other and wanted to know more. Soon, they started dating and have been together ever since. From their fun first dates like making their own Valentine’s Day presents, playing catch football, and their many outings for frozen yogurt to heading to Africa to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro together; the love these two share has grown and deepened throughout the years.It was on a trip out to California where Sean proposed to Kelsey. Kelsey and Sean both live in Chicago but Sean works in California during the week (talk about a long commute!) Kelsey met up with Sean one weekend while he was out there. They went for a little run along the coast and at sunset, Sean asked Kelsey to be his wife! She didn’t expect it at all but she couldn’t have been more thrilled about anything in her entire life! Now they are planning a beautiful summer wedding for next year. But before they say, “I do,” we met in Chicago for a little photo session to celebrate their love! This was my first Engagement Shoot in Chicago and to say it was amazing would be an understatement! Even though it rained the entire session, I loved the hustle of the city and the bright lights everywhere. Kelsey and Sean were an absolute dream to photograph and I’m so happy I could capture their love on camera.
