From the photographer:
What better way to celebrate your love than to plan a wedding that celebrates the well-known day of love, Valentine’s Day. Even St. Valentine and his cupids would love to attend a wedding like this lovely Valentine’s inspired shoot at the beautiful Glover Park Brewery in Marietta, GA.
This new venue is the perfect backdrop for our Valentine’s love story. It is a lovely combination of historic charm and modern elegance. Event and floral designer, JoBeth Martin of Righteous Oaks Florals envisioned a bespoke design and gorgeous flowers that would fill this beautiful setting with vignettes off valentine love. Jen Johnson of Blush Pink Weddings helped organize the day and a great vendor team to bring this vision to life. Her talents or scheduling and her attention to detail are invaluable assets that are so needed to make any event successful were greatly appreciated.
Our head table boast lovely greenery and floral garlands, completed by flowing arrangements in whites, pink and bold valentine red. After all what valentine décor would be complete without red roses? The highlight of the table was beautiful place settings provided by Valerie Johnson of The Prissy Plate Company. Our table settings boasted gold beaded chargers, salad plates with a modern gray & white pattern, both blush and cranberry glassware and her signature gold dipped in white flatware. The table is given a final romantic glow from the light pink tapers that grace the table.
The talented, Lorena Elsey, owner of Your Captiving Moments Photography and her assistant, MyPhuong Tran did an awesome job of capturing the mood and details of this love inspired day. Lorena’s wonderful photographic eye was invaluable as she also worked with our bride and bridesmaid at Encore Formals and Bridal owned by Kathy Welch, to choose the perfect gown and dress for the day to complete our look.
We were so thrilled with this gorgeous David Tutera wedding gown. The wedding gown with a lovely blush underlay draped fully with rich champagne lace looked amazing on our bride Rachel Solik. Every bride needs a beautiful bouquet to complement her look. Righteous Oaks Floral created this one of a kind bouquet featuring an amazing light pink king protea, white dendrobium orchids and of course a bounty of romantic roses.
The style of the bridal gown worked perfectly with the light cranberry dress also by Encore Bridal, worn by our beautiful maid of honor Emma Scazzero. Groom, Troy Johnson and best man, Ken Peters wearing charcoal grey tuxedoes from Encore were a handsome addition to our lovely ladies. Our wedding party is completed with our own little cherubs. Flower girls Camryn, Ashlyn and Evelyn Andretta looked like angels in their sweet flower crowns and champagne and blush dresses. Our handsome little ring bearer, Grayson Andretta brought smiles and plenty of “ohs and ahs” with his cute little grin.
It’s the little details that make every bride’s vision come to life. Our vision could not have been complete with these lovely details. We loved the cake created by the talented designer, Grace Ferrier, of Confection Perfection owned by Jennifer Punch. Grace designed a red velvet cake decorated with pink and red roses. What a romantic look or a romantic day. We so appreciated the beautiful rings provided by Holly Springs Jewelry. Our day would not be possible without the bride and groom inviting guest to their special day. A lovely invitation suite is the first impression that guest will see of the vision of loveliness to come on the wedding day. We think that Takisha Thomas of KikiKaligs Designs did a wonderful job setting the mood for the love filled loveliness to come in this Valentine’s Day Inspiration.
