from the photographer… “There is a venue super close to my home and its setting is like that of a French Chateau among the countryside. It is beyond scenic and we wanted to style something that was truly comfortable, warm and inviting. All of us love the outdoors and adventures, so we wanted to use simple elegant details and pull in nature into our tablescape and bouquet so we used a lot of greenery. With the venue being so stunning we wanted to use heirloom silver and gold candlestick holders and heirloom china that had a provincial feel. In the Parisian spirit we had a cheeseboard for our couple to enjoy along with signature cocktails that made them feel special and hospitable.”
“The couple we chose was a married newlywed couple. We LOVE marriage and it was important to us to use a married couple who felt good cuddling up together. We wanted to be able to share these images with them so they can look back on the fun they had modeling for us. The bride wore a delicate blush dress that made her feel beautiful! The shoes and the bouquet and that rose gold diamond wedding ring definitely are touches of luxe. The details were artistic from the marbled cake to the intricately designed cookies and signs. My style of photography and who I am is romantic, so I really wanted to incorporate that into the session by using lots of flickering candlelight. The venue had a gorgeous ornamental mirror that I thought would be the perfect centerpiece for our ceremony along with lots of greenery and handwritten vows. It is always fun to renew your vows even at a styled session!”
