What to Pack to Look Beautiful While Travelling

DIY Projects / December 5, 2017

The moment anyone mentions the word ‘travel’, the next immediate thing that pops up in
mind is ‘photos’, and as a matter of fact, loads of them.
These photos may not form the crux of the purpose of your travel, yet they are
quintessential. They provide you with the lifelong benefit of going down the memory lane and
reliving those moments and experiences all over again.
This is where you realize, that it is, nevertheless, a wise choice to look good enough while
posing for these pictures, rather than spoiling them with being a worn-out version of yourself.
Yes, it is only worthier to be able to complement the beauty of your travel diaries.
So let us see how you can achieve that super cool travel look even at times when you are
dead tired and can’t seem to think of anything else, let alone grooming.
We have in here, a list of some handy tips about what to pack when you wish to look good
while on the go. Read on to find more.

1. Research about the destination

First and foremost, while packing up for a dream destination, it is crucial to be aware of the fact that traveling is more about the comfort level than the style quotient. You may look like a million bucks, but you certainly can not enjoy your journey if your attire is awkwardly planned. No prizes for guessing how mindless, it would seem if you spot someone wearing leather plants at the beachside or a mini dress for a trekking trip. So, to begin with, it is an absolute must to be clear about your destination’s weather, topography, etc. and pack accordingly. To ensure a smooth trip, do not forget to carry a carte a gratter with you.

2. Choice of fabrics

Next in line comes the kind of fabrics you may consider that will not only make you look good but will also demand less care and upkeep. To serve the purpose aptly, you may opt for synthetic or spandex blend fabrics that are soft, breathable, wrinkle-free, and comfortable as well. They do not rumple easily or lose their shape or hue, even after several uses. To add to the advantages, they occupy minimum possible space in your luggage and weigh close to nothing.

Just for reminders, avoid linen or cotton. They may be comfortable as hell but demand a little more care for themselves.

3. Finally, The Dresses

Selecting what exactly you must take along for your journey may not be rocket science, but it is the trickiest part of your packing endeavor. The kind of knowledge and foresightedness you put into this matter will eventually decide how your overall look comes out to be when you are out there and living your dream. So make sure you do this prudently.

Go for dresses that are super comfy yet mod so that you do not have to compromise on either your fun or your comfort.

Short flowy dresses or maxi dresses make moving around really easy. Team them up with a pair of boots if it is a casual day tour or throw in a chic pair of wedges for a more classy outing.

A pair of your favorite stretchy jeans with a smart-looking tee may also do the trick for you.

They blend well with almost all occasions and leave you feeling good all day long.

4. Layer it up

Carrying layers is the smartest thing one can do to make it look like heaps of hard work involved when it has taken nothing. A dapper jacket or a voguish trenchcoat always come handy when you wish to pack light yet avoid looking the same in all your photos.

Simply put on that cute little shrug over your tee and shorts set, let its knot rest above your navel and up your style quotient with absolutely zero effort.

5. Accessorize to save your day

Accessories are often seen as swanky add-ons that help accentuate the way your attire looks on your body. But for travelers who need to squeeze in a lot while also keeping it workable, accessories often come as saviors. For instance, on days when you are too tired to put on even the basic makeup, don a pair of oversized sunglasses that will cover most of your face and fake a pretty picture. Similarly, on bad hair days, divert all the attention towards a gorgeous looking headband, or even better- a beautiful hat and no one will ever know what happened that day.

6. Shoes

Never takes chances with this one aspect of styling because if gone wrong, it can probably terminate the happy times and spoil all the fun. Therefore, it is vital to pack shoes that are incredibly comfortable and tried and tested before embarking on the journey. Be doubly sure that all the footwear that you have decided upon can withstand varied topographies and climates and can go well with most of the outfits.

7. Other titbits

Last but not least, apart from clothing and styling, there are other factors too that contribute significantly to making you feel good, and consequently looking good, while you are traveling.

This list includes essential items like sunscreen, makeup remover, dry shampoo, necessary medication to treat a hangover, headaches, etc. these may look too basic, but they help a great deal behind the scenes.

Final words

Traveling is a passion for those who aim at enjoyment via exploration. And what to wear while you are at it is a mammoth subject. In reality, one thing can not be right for all. Thus, it is advised that you follow styles confirmed by your priorities. Only remember to go for options that are convenient and make you feel confident. Because that is the ultimate key towards looking great. Do not slog yourself and do not over-do things. Instead, keep it simple and keep it light. Keep yourself hydrated, exercise more, take care of your skin when you are off the roads, and you will be glowing like a star in your travel pics.
