The Stone Rows Farm Wedding proves that every soon-to-be-wed couple should seriously consider a barn wedding.
Cake & Lace is always in awe with the magnificent beauty of nature!
From the photographer:
“It was in the mid-70’s and I have to say, it was the perfect temperature for a wedding. As soon as we drove down the stone lane to the farm and got out of the car, we knew it was going to be a lovely day. Being in the countryside has a way of making you feel renewed, especially when there is zero humidity and tons of fresh air all around!
We found Helene getting ready in the main farmhouse with the special ladies in her life. I was impressed at how relaxed she was, likely because she had a great team helping to organize the day including her mother and Derek, her groom himself! Derek got ready in the guest house that is also on the property, which is just one of the reasons why I love this venue! Both the bride and groom can get ready right on the property but in completely different buildings. It was a perfect fit for Helene and Derek who wanted to have a relaxed day where everyone could just enjoy each other’s company all in one location. I love how this wedding day complemented Helene and Derek’s personalities. So calm and easy-going!
Helene and Derek opted to do a first look well before their ceremony so that they could enjoy spending the most amount of time with their friends and family. They picked the front of the farmhouse as a location for the first look and it was a lovely backdrop. After Derek had a few moments to admire his lovely bride, we headed out to use as much as the grounds as we could during their portrait session. We just love all the space that is available to couples who get married at this venue. Wait until you see the spot we went out to just before sunset! We had the best light all day long and the prettiest backdrops, too. Something tells me you’re going to love escaping to the farm as you view this album – enjoy it!”
