Rain or shine this pacific northwest couple proves that you can bring the beach indoors in this styled shoot. This modern tech couple tied the knot under a beautiful macramé piece by Twisted Tides while their new fur baby enjoyed a nap on an eclectic gown by The Dress Theory.
From the planner, Katharine Alexandra. of Cake & Lace Events:
Who doesn’t swoon when they see a beautiful winter wedding with snow and a bride wrapped in fur? When designing this shoot I wanted to inspire modern couples by showing how to bring the beach indoors no matter the time of year. It all started with the sandy beach invitations with calligraphy by Cake & Lace Lettering. It was pouring rain but that didn’t stop this real couple from steaming up the vases of Vetiver floral arrangements. Luckily, Murphy, the golden doodle, only managed to eat a few leaves from his collar arrangement!
The morning began with Rita from the Beauty Bridal agency highlighting the models natural beauty with peach hues and a subtle beachy wave for her hair. Over at the Larimars Studio I greeted Alexander Party Rentals who allowed us to showcase their beautiful vineyard table and chairs as well as the wine barrel for the cake stand. The golden plateware were the perfect color on top of the dark wood.
The bubbly was popped and our groom arrived in a tan suit from Generation Tux. To pull his look together they even added a watch and dark brown shoes! A dramatic detailed cake and sandy truffles were designed by BB Nest Bakery and they definitely had my stomach growling.
Matt Rommel photography captured stunning moody shots throughout the shoot but truly captured the beauty of the antique ring set by Green Lake Jewelry. Thanks so much to glassybaby we warmed up the room with their votives called whiskey and beach.
This amazing vendor line up helped make my beach dreams come true and hopefully gives hope to outdoor Pacific Northwest Couples that they too can make their boho dreams come to life even inside!
