Looking for fresh inspiration peri-pandemic to complement your wedding vision? Christina Anne Photography is a master of the craft, ensuring that each shot highlights the affair’s most arresting elements which we can’t take our eyes off. It is better to see the album on your own – words can’t simply do it justice! 🍹💝🍰
Our intention for doing this styled shoot is to draw our modern bride to the elegant, timeless, simple and intimate feel of our Vintage Winter Wedding. We wanted to evoke true feelings of nostalgia of the weddings seen in pictures of our grandparents drawing on vintage elements and the idea of things being bespoke or handmade. Our bride pairs her classic ballgown with a crescent bouquet and elegant full length gloves. In keeping with our theme many of the pieces displayed were vintage or handmade, the formal dining gloves belonged to our hair and makeup artist’s mother while the bride’s shawl was handmade by a friend. The venue Willowdale was the perfect backdrop for this snowy, intimate affair. Inspired by the castles of Scotland, it is reminiscent of a luxe country escape fit for royalty. Our reception also featured a champagne cocktail bar! The champagne cocktail is a fun and classic cocktail that allows guests to top their glass of bubbly with fun accoutrements like maraschino cherries or orange slices. While champagne is a requisite part of any celebration, giving it an old fashioned twist helps make the drink unique while giving another nod to a bygone era.
While getting married during a pandemic is not ideal for any bride, it has made each celebration feel more private and cozy. Our shoot is an example of how you can make a small event feel timeless, elegant, and most importantly personalized.
