from the photographer… “The Farmhouse is a newly opened venue in beautiful Montgomery, TX. Imagine that Joanna Gaines decided she wanted to open a wedding venue – this would be it! White shiplap everywhere, rolling barn doors, farmhouse tables and magnolia leaves – this is the perfect venue for not only a true farmhouse bride, but a bride that is looking for a blank slate to create her dream wedding off of. When deciding what kind of inspiration shoot we wanted to do with The Farmhouse, we wanted something that hadn’t been done there before and didn’t necessarily go off the farmhouse feel. We wanted to showcase how a bride could really turn this into exactly what she wanted, no matter what that was. So here arose the boho bride, which we all know isn’t your typical, traditional bride. From the champagne colored Chandon Hayley Paige gown to the 5 band/10 stone engagement ring and the triangular structural ceremony backdrop, this is definitely not your typical wedding look! And after seeing our vision come to life we fell in love with our Boho Farmhouse Bride even more.”

“Striking Stems did an incredible job taking our colors and incorporating them into all of the florals. We absolutely loved their installation on the ceremony piece and adored how they arranged the pieces coming out of the bottom instead of positioning them at the top. Hannah, the hair stylist, even incorporated some stems into the model’s braided up-do and Kailyn with Get Caked arranged them into the two tier cake to tie everything together. We loved using Basic Invite to create our one-of-a-kind, custom invitation suite. They have so many designs you can start with and then you can completely customize them by picking their endless amount of color options, fonts, insert cards, envelope liners & envelopes! We wanted to pull in the greens, pinks and corals that we were also using in our color pallet instead of the prominent yellow to help tie it all together! When picking the areas for each setup it wasn’t hard to find beautiful spots around every corner of The Farmhouse.”

“It was a no brainer for our model to get ready in the bridal suite which is in the second story of the Farmhouse overlooking the front courtyard. From white walls to cream colored tufted chairs and couches and sparkling chandeliers, this suite was nothing short of bridal! We decided to position our arch and vintage rug aisle on the turf lawn overlooking the pond. This was a perfect location that would be a dream for any outdoor ceremony. Our eclectic boho seating area took center stage under the string lights for a romantic and cozy feel. The dinner, appetizer and cake tables were positioned inside surrounded by lots of light and white, bright walls. This helped feature that a bride really can bring in any style when she has a blank slate to work with.”
