One glimpse and you’ll see that the wedding was indeed an elegant and intimate one! The choice of colors and theme of the wedding were incorporated to make this ceremony a truly magical one. Just take a look at the couple’s styled shoot.
From the vendor:
“Colette and Corey met at the dog park in the apartment building where they both lived – so sweet. You will see their beloved dog, Mia, throughout the different parts of their day as she is very special to them. Corey and Colette found out their family would be growing in November and immediately started planning their elopement which turned into a small intimate wedding ceremony with their closest family and friends.
Corey “officially” proposed on Valentine’s Day two weeks before their wedding day by bringing their dog Mia into the room to wake Colette up that morning with a sign on her neck that read, “Mommy, will you marry Daddy?”
When choosing the colors and theme of their wedding day, they considered that Corey loves the Baltimore Ravens and Colette also loves the color purple. When she first got her dog, Mia, her initial name by the breeder was Miss. Purple because she had a purple collar around her neck. They wanted simple, easy, and soft touches for their special day – which is exactly what they got! So pretty!!!
From the bride, “Gateau has the best frosting, hands down. The cake was the first and easiest wedding decision. I love lavender and asked the florist to work around that color scheme, she did a lovely job”. Mia, Corey and Colette’s dog, was present for the whole ceremony and reception, which made it feel complete for them and incorporated the family aspect they were hoping for. They also shared in the wine and letter box tradition for their future anniversary.
When asked about her favorite part of the wedding day and planning process, this is what Colette had to say, “I loved that all my vendors understood that I wasn’t looking for the typical wedding – I wanted things to be organized, simple, and efficient. All my vendors were perfect for our small wedding because they listened to what I wanted and did not push for anything more. I loved that I did not have to worry about ANYTHING at all the entire day. I did not have to set up anything, all was so beautiful and perfect. I also loved our dinner afterwards – it was the most special meal our family has ever had together. The space was decorated so beautifully and the meal was AWESOME!!!”. A truly magical, intimate wedding day!”
