If Cake & Lace can go back in time, the first thing we’d do is seek an invitation to this Classic and Elegant December Castle Wedding!
The pure elegance of this album gives prominence on the establishment of an impressive wedding. Wherever our eyes go, there is a vibe that overflows with love. Without more ado, allow yourself to experience this special ceremony’s most touching moments!
From the couple:
“We love the Holiday season, and held a festive green, white, and gold candlelit affair just ten days before Christmas Eve. We were married at our Church, surrounded by our all of our close friends and family. A reception followed at the elegant 19th-century Whitby Castle, on the grounds of the Rye Golf Course in New York.
Our wedding stationer, Emily Mayne, helped us to set the tone for the day by creating a custom green and white monogram for us, adorned by white garden roses and ranunculus, panda anemones, winter berries, pine cones, and greenery. Our florist helped to bring these to life by creating similar bouquets and centerpieces for the big day. This aesthetic was complemented by elements of black watch plaid and tall, white tapered candles. As guests entered the reception room at Whitby Castle, they were greeted by several white-lit Christmas trees, and tables decorated with beautiful gold chargers and dark green folded napkins holding the menu for the evening, which reflected the invitation suite. Small ivory chocolate box favors were adorned by green ribbons and looked like tiny Christmas gifts! Dan is a bourbon aficionado, and curated a custom collection of his favorite Bourbons at a tasting bar adorned by a black watch plaid cloth and surrounded by rocks glasses featuring our monogram. We kept things clean and classic with a simple white four-tiered cake sprinkled with a few panda anemones.”
